Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known as a naive character who delight and are adored by critics. Adams was the daughter of an U.S. Army officer in Italy and later moved to Castle Rock Colorado. Around the middle of 1990, she began professional dancing and performed at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Following her move to Minnesota, she took part in a documentary mock-up on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998). From June 1951 until September 22, 1962 she got engaged to actress Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was picked up by actress Norma shearer. She was offered a contract for MGM in the 1940s. Through the years, Leigh acted in a myriad of popular films like Alfred Hitchcock Psycho (1960) or Living It Up (a Martin Lewis film from 1954).).
